I just got the pieces of my short film back on six reels. I shot at 24fps on Tri-X b&w, all indoors. While most of the stuff was lit to perfection by my DP, a few shots and things (mostly tight close-up shots) did not recieve very good lighting and came out really dark and murky. Is there anything I can do about this during the video transfer, possibly "lighten" those shots up? I'm getting a RANK transfer from a pro lab.
